摘要: ABSTRACT Spacecraft polymeric materials as well polymer-matrix carbon-fiber composites can be significantly eroded a result of exposure to atomic oxygen in low Earth orbit (LEO). Several new now exist, modifications conventionally used materials, that provide much more resistance attack than conventional hydrocarbon polymers. Protective coatings have also been developed which are resistant and protection underlying materials. However, actual spacecraft applications, the configuration, choice surface characteristics functional requirements quasi-durable or protective great impact on resulting performance durability.
