摘要: Macroscopic ion channel current is the summation of stochastic records individual currents and therefore relates to their statistical properties. As a consequence this relationship, it may be possible derive certain properties single or even generate some estimates themselves from macroscopic when direct measurement not applicable. We present procedure for generating an its process gating has following two properties: (I) open duration independent time opening event exponential probability density function (pdf), (II) all channels have same at t. The application considered cases where difficult impossible. First, (pdf) events, property records, derived normalized mean duration. Second, shown that under conditions (II), non-stationary Markov model can represent gating. Third, calibrated using results first step. formulation increases ability variety different compared common stationary models. then used obtain other records. Experimental inactivating BK potassium are evaluate how accurately reconstructs measured sweeps.
