摘要: Using an experimental model of rat colon adenocarcinoma, we have recently shown that the presence H blood-group antigen on variants CD44 adhesion molecule carrying amino acids encoded by exon v6 (CD44v6), increased cells' tumorigenicity. In present study, adenocarcinomas were induced 1,2-dimethylhydrazine treatment in rats. immunohistochemistry, biopsies normal, precancerous and carcinomatous mucosa evaluated for expression A blood group antigens CD44s CD44v6 antigens. Normal showed strong homogeneous A, but weak antigen. Several weeks before appearance tumours, dysplastic glands strongly stained with anti-H reagents, while their was lost. Expression restricted to some cells at bottom normal crypts. No obvious change observed severe dysplasia. carcinomas, a irregular observed. moderately differentiated apical surface cells, whereas found basolateral side. Only loss polarity, poorly cancers or infiltrated muscularis mucosae, coexpress surface.
