摘要: Abstract A case of endometrioid ovarian carcinoma associated with elevated levels serum placental-like alkaline phosphatase (PLAP) is presented. Two and a half years before final diagnosis was made following explorative laparotomy, an incidental blood test revealed in the patient’s serum. thorough investigation for source this elevation negative. Postoperative immunohistochemical staining tumor, showed diffuse stain PLAP, along gradual decline to normal values total phosphatase. It suggested, that whenever due unknown reason, including isoenzymes, Ca-125, trans-vaginal pelvic sonogram even diagnostic laparosopy, should be considered search early preclinical cancer.
