摘要: AIM We aimed to evaluate the impact of bariatric surgery (BS) on maternal and fetal outcomes. METHODS A retrospective, descriptive, observational study 39 pregnant women who underwent BS in our institution between 2010 2014 was carried out. sample became after evaluated, based data concerning pregnancy, childbirth, newborns. Iron deficiency observed 18 (46.1%) women, (45.7%) vitamin B12 deficiency, 12 (66.8%) zinc 20 (60.6%) D deficiency. Three developed gestational diabetes mellitus. Premature rupture membranes occurred two pregnancies, preterm delivery five, there one spontaneous abortion. Cesarean section performed seven cases. newborn weight 3002 587 g, five small for age, macrosomia. infants be admitted intensive care unit. CONCLUSION Although is safe well tolerated, close monitoring by multidisciplinary team required complications resulting from BS, especially deficit micronutrients.
