摘要: Several outcomes of pregnancy after bariatric surgery are currently being studied. This cross-sectional, retrospective study evaluated the obstetric and perinatal pregnancies in 19 women who underwent surgery, as well growth development their children, Southern Brazil. Among these women, 11 children were born prior to 32 post-surgery. The mean time between first was 42.96 months. Preterm newborns more common among pre-surgery childbirths. Regarding growth, normal weights observed 27.3 % births obesity 54.5 %. In contrast, 59.4 % during postoperative period 31.2 %. average excess weight that lost 64.88. Speech delays found three male using Denver Developmental Screening Test II. A statistical association interval from outcome questionable II test results (p = 0.011).
