摘要: AbstractThe Hangul (Cervus elaphus hanglu) is a “Least Concern” deer species, and it the only survivor of Red Deer group in Indian subcontinent. The phylogenetic status relative to other members family Cervidae not known because sequence data are available public databases. Therefore, this study was carried out determine delineate genetic boundaries with respect subspecies on basis cytochrome b gene (ca 421 bp). There three major monophyletic groups tree, which referred as western (Hap-01 Hap-10), eastern (Hap-11 Hap-20) tarim (Hap-21 Hap-25) groups. overall haplotype diversity per-site nucleotide were 0.9771 (±0.0523) 0.0388 (±0.00261), respectively.
