摘要: The open reading frame 122 of Bombyx mori nucleopolyhedrovirus (BmNPV) (Bm122) has been observed to be a conserved gene in the lepidopteran baculoviruses that have completely sequenced so far. Its transcript was detected at 3 h post infection (h p.i.) and remained detectable up 96 p.i. Temporal transcription analysis indicated Bm122 is transcribed by host RNA polymerase. size translational product Tn5B-1-4 cells approximately 23 kDa, which agreement with predicted value 22.9 suggesting no major posttranslational modification occurred primary protein product. subcellular localization studied using EGFP-Bm122, revealed accumulated within nuclear region virus-infected BmN cells. All these results suggest an early encoding functions nucleus.
