Assessment of the structural and process aspects of pharmaceutical care at a university hospital in Ethiopia

摘要: Objective: To assess the structural and process components of pharmaceutical care at Gondar University Referral Hospital (GURH). Materials Methods: An institution-based cross-sectional study was conducted on all four pharmacies GURH from October 1 to December 31, 2013. By adopting data collection instruments a previously done study, aspects were assessed using an observation checklist delivery self-administered questionnaire. The collected entered analyzed Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 16.0. Results: none had private counseling room, fire extinguisher meeting area. None pharmacy stores equipped with fan air ventilation system no cross aisles. mean values documentation, patient assessment implementation therapeutic objective 12.14, 14.03 5.64 respectively. Many pharmacists (64.29%) did not participate in ward rotation physicians. overall professionals' level job satisfaction found be 2.77. Conclusion: There gaps structure provision GURH.
