摘要: Abstract Increasing energy efficiency and reducing water consumption are two of the key requirements in moving toward a more sustainable mining industry. This paper demonstrates method determining lowest option for mine/mill system network. The uses linear programming algorithm to compare different possible combinations supplying mine mill consumers. First, site balance is determined then every major consumer source specified. Water sources may require pumping, cooling and/or treatment before meets specifications consumer. amount required each supply calculated model solved minimize power consumption. An example used illustrate method.
