摘要: Abstract This paper examines the concepts of “cleaner production (CP)” and “pollution prevention” in mining context. These terms, which have become subject important international conferences recent years, are increasingly being misconstrued. It has particularly challenging to apply these environmental management allied industries because nature their operations. Specifically, as prospective deposits geologically fixed, cannot randomly select locations mine sites, and, a result, is commonly scrutinized for conducting operations ecologically sensitive areas. Furthermore, unlike most industrial activity, mines, quarries smelting complexes ability cause widespread damages on numerous fronts. To avoid interpreted generically therefore misused, CP, pollution prevention, related (e.g. waste minimization, toxic reduction etc.) must be defined specifically industry before incorporated into policies legislation.
