摘要: Animal venom peptides are currently being developed as novel drugs and bioinsecticides. Because ants use venoms for defense predation, venomous represent an untapped source of potential bioactive toxins. This study compared the protein peptide components poneroid Neoponera commutata, apicalis, Odontomachus hastatus formicoid Ectatomma tuberculatum, brunneum, Myrmecia gulosa. 1D 2D PAGE revealed proteins in mass range 250 kDa.
