摘要: Guillian Barre Syndrome (GBS) is an acquired disease of the peripheral nerves that characterized clinically by rapidly progressing paralysis, areflexia, and albumino-cytological dissociation. It affects both genders, involves people all ages, reported worldwide, in post-polio era, it most common cause acute generalized paralysis. The clinical features are distinct a history examination generally lead to high suspicion diagnosis can then be confirmed supportive laboratory tests electrodiagnostic studies. This review discusses recent advances understanding different variants GBS such as inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (AIDP), motor axonal neuropathy (AMAN), sensory (AMSAN), Fisher syndrome. clinical, criteria, immunopathogenesis, management its discussed.
