摘要: Spectral and wavelet analyses were performed on ultrasound radiofrequency (RF) data collected from centrifuged cell samples containing HEp-2 cells after induction of apoptosis by exposure to camptothecin. Samples imaged at several time points drug using high-frequency in the range 10-60 MHz. A 20-MHz transducer with a f-number 2.35 40-MHz 3 used for collecting RF data. Normalized power spectra computed backscattered signals within region-of-interest (ROI) further analysis. slopes, integrated backscatter coefficients (IBCs) parameters estimated as function treatment monitor acoustic property changes during apoptosis. Changes spectral detected starting six hours coincided corresponding histology. Throughout course chemotherapy, variation estimates slope up 35% observed. During treatment, IBCs increased 400% compared obtained control samples. are hypothesized be linked structural In addition, sensitivity wavelet-based analysis ultrasonic assessment cellular was investigated. Results showed variations similar parameters. Where values decreased, scaling factors increased. Because preserves signal-time localization, its application will potentially beneficial assessing responses vivo. The current study contributes toward development non-invasive method monitoring measure success chemotherapeutic cancer.
