摘要: Purpose To test the hypothesis that heart irradiation increases risk of a symptomatic radiation-induced loss lung function (SRILF) and this can be well-described as modulation functional reserve lung. Methods Materials Rats were irradiated with 150-MeV protons. Dose–response curves obtained for significant increase in breathing frequency after 100%, 75%, 50%, or 25% total volume, either including excluding from field. A mean respiratory rate 6–12 weeks compared 0–4 was defined SRILF, based on biweekly measurements rate. The critical volume (CV) model used to describe SRILF. Fits done using maximum likelihood method. Consistency between data tested previously developed goodness-of-fit test. Results CV could fitted consistently only. However, failed predict also included irradiation. Even refitting all resulted difference data.
