摘要: The author investigated the relationship between drinking and type of practice among U.S. attorneys. Participants were attorneys from 2 large midwestern cities, chosen through stratified random sampling bar-association membership lists. Type law was related to whether participants drank in business-related situations but not frequency or quantity consumption. solo, corporate, government practices more likely than those private group report no past 30 days. Female male similar reported abstention rates quantities consumption business situations, suggesting that occupational norms strongly salient for both genders. Criminal trial work only women. Results are discussed terms influence culture on drinking.
