摘要: [1] Interrelationships between year-to-year variations in September Arctic sea ice extent and summer level pressure surface air temperature at high northern latitudes are examined making use of microwave satellite imagery atmospheric data for the period 1979–2006. Linear trends variability about linear trend lines considered separately: latter gives a clearer indication physical linkages fields. Years with low tend to be characterized by anticyclonic circulation anomalies over Arctic, easterly wind marginal seas where concentration is largest. It hypothesized that cause principally way Ekman drift seas. The associated also largest seas, positive regions reduced ice.
