摘要: The aneuploidogenic and clastogenic potentials of the mycotoxins citrinin (CIT) patulin (PAT) were studied by determining inhibition microtubule assembly under cell-free conditions measuring induction mitotic arrest micronuclei in cultured Chinese hamster V79 cells. Both CIT PAT inhibited polymerization a concentration-dependent manner. PAT, but not CIT, bound covalently to reactive thiol groups proteins. At concentrations without gross cytotoxicity, CREST-positive micronuclei, i.e. containing whole chromosomes/chromatids, induced time course micronucleus positive CREST staining indicate potential PAT. CREST-negative acentric chromosomal fragments, implying may well contribute putative carcinogenicity these long-term animal studies.
