A novel method for electret production using impulse voltages

摘要: A novel method for producing electrets is proposed in which an electric discharge induced by a negative impulse voltage small air gap. The dielectric foil to be charged placed between two planar electrodes, being contact with one of them and separated from the other gap causes charges deposit onto surface where they are trapped, thus forming electret. Measurements carried out Teflon FEP (fluoroethylene propylene) show very uniform deposition, that sample potential increases linearly increasing peak voltage. In principle, this compares corona production regard high turnout low cost. >
