摘要: Topical administration of prostaglandin E1 (PGE1) and F2 alpha (PGF2 alpha) prior to ocular trauma can reduce the inflammatory response in rabbits. In present study, consisted puncture cornea, without aspiration aqueous. Corneal puncture, which causes response, a breakdown blood-aqueous barrier, biphasic intraocular pressure (IOP), yields valid model mild response. Pretreatment with PGE1 PGF2 led lower rise aqueous E2 (PGE2) concentration reduced after corneal puncture; addition, increase protein was smaller ascorbate level higher. The PGE2 pretreatment PGs correlated changes IOP. It is suggested that trauma-induced by decreasing formation endogenous prostaglandins, as reflected their This study also indicates results studies require perforation cornea or cannulation anterior chamber may be affected profound levels cyclo-oxygenase products tissues surrounding
