摘要: We present a theoretical study of the electronic excitation in confined one-dimensional electron gas, which is utilized to model atomic chains created recent experiments. The length dependence spectra obtained from linear response theory within random phase approximation and time-dependent density functional theory. As increases, dipole show transition electron-hole pair excitations collective plasmon excitation. trend length-dependent resonance predicted, nature also elaborated.
