摘要: Organisms have evolved motility organelles that allow them to move favorable habitats. Cells integrate environmental stimuli into intracellular signals machineries direct this migration. Many are complex surface appendages a tight, hierarchical regulation of expression. In the crenearchaeon Sulfolobus acidocaldarius, biosynthesis archaellum is regulated by regulatory network proteins control expression components in phosphorylation-dependent manner. A major trigger for nutrient starvation, but although some known, cascade triggered starvation poorly understood. work, we identify starvation-induced Ser/Thr protein kinase ArnS (Saci_1181) which located proximally operon. Deletion arnS results reduced motility, though properly assembled. Therefore, our experimental and modelling indicate plays an essential role precisely controlled during acidocaldarius.
