摘要: Atypical mononuclear cells (AMC) with Sezary-cell-like morphology were demonstrated to be present in rheumatoid synovial membranes. These have exclusively T cell membrane characteristics, like identical previously found synovival fluids. AMC predominantly transitional areas between nodular lymphocytic aggregates and plasma rich areas. In ultrathin sections accounted for approximately 30% of all lymphocyte cells; studies isolated from membranes comprised 30–40% the E-rosetteforming cells. The hypothesis that these represent reactive is discussed.
