摘要: Temporomandibular joint dysfunction after tumor extirpation of the hemimandible is a frequent sequela condylar head reconstruction. Condylar resection often performed because oncological and vascular considerations. Recent studies have demonstrated that malignancies mandibular ramus body rarely involve head, vascularity supportive structures are sufficient to maintain viability function. This study demonstrates temporomandibular function preserved hemimandibulectomy without head. Fixation vascularized fibular flap in situ. growth maintained with painless incisal opening. The center for mandible pediatric population. Its preservation these patients will avoid long-term problems associated loss such as malocclusion concomitant maxillary deformity.
