摘要: Musclin has been described as a muscle-derived secretory peptide, responsive to insulin in vivo, and inducing resistance vitro. Because muscle fibers display very different metabolic properties sensitivity, we tested the hypothesis that musclin expression could depend on myofiber type. mRNA was detected at high level fast gastrocnemius plantaris muscles, but only traces soleus, slow-twitch muscle. A single fiber analysis showed produced by themselves, almost exclusively type IIb fibers. Slow transition of soleus phenotype after hindlimb suspension increased levels, whereas slow functional overload decreased levels. This clearly suggests transcription is strongly related fast-glycolytic phenotype. We conclude myocytes highly fiber-type specific manner physiological changes MHC lead coordinated expression.
