摘要: Abstract Objective To evaluate the role of bladder volume and wall thickness measurement by ultrasound in assessing severity predicting response to behavioral therapy children with monosymptomatic nocturnal enuresis. Methods 122 (68 boys 54 girls) aged 5–9 years underwent evaluation thickness, followed calculation index (BVWI). They were treated using first-line management (behavioral therapy) for 4 months. Correlation treatment measurements was investigated. Results Only 74 completed study: 16 showed complete treatment, 25 good response, 18 partial 15 no response. Age, gender location residence did not correlate or Ultrasound measured also either Bladder a strong correlation both as BVWI. Conclusion BVWI are strongly associated enuresis highly predictive therapy. It is recommended that any child should undergo an abdominal examination before starting treatment.
