摘要: Hooking up--when two people agree to engage in sexual behavior for which there is no future commitment--has become popular on college campuses. In this study we examined the extent pluralistic ignorance affects hooking up. One hundred thirty-six female and 128 male students answered questions regarding their own comfort perceived peers engaging a variety of behaviors while We hypothesized found that both women men rated as being more comfortable these than they themselves. Men expressed did behaviors, sexes overestimated other gender s with up behaviors. Pluralistic appears apply campuses, explore some potential consequences context.
