摘要: Background and purposes: Excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) is a common sleep disorder in patients with Parkinson disease (PD). Non-ergot dopamine agonists increase the risk of unanticipated episodes. Objective: We aimed to assess influence renal function on EDS PD. Methods: Sixty-two treated ropinirole or pramipexole were recruited for this study. evaluated historical clinical characteristics including motor symptom rating scales, Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS), estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR). An ESS score 10 greater was defined as EDS. Participants eGFR < 60 ml/min/1.73 m2 determined have chronic kidney (CKD). Multiple logistic regression analysis performed determine predictive factors EDS. Results: Chronic found be significant factor all (P = 0.014). observed negative correlation between severity alone (rs = −0.637, P < 0.001). Conclusions: may EDS, especially pramipexole, which directly excreted urine.
