摘要: Guided bone regeneration is a predictable and well-documented surgical approach for the treatment of deficient alveolar ridges prior to endosseous implant placement. The purpose this study was compare new resorbable membrane (GORE RESOLUT ADAPT Regenerative Membrane, i.e. 67% glycolide (PGA) : 33% trimethyline carbonate (TMC)) with Bio-Gide, collagen membrane. Five canines were used in study. Three saddle-type osseous defects created bilaterally edentulous areas mandible. filled assayed, canine demineralized freeze-dried (DFDB) thermoplastic gelatin matrix. Using randomized block design, four sites covered PGA TMC membranes different porosities, one site consisted DFDB alone (control). At 3 months, animals euthanized mandibles removed en bloc laboratory processing. A total 30 reviewed microradiographically underwent histomorphometric analysis regeneration, soft tissue presence remaining graft material. All exhibited uneventful healing. significantly higher percentage seen protected by component visible beneath as compared control noticeable deformation regenerated secondary collapse overlying periosteum. authors conclude that DFDB-filled defect allowed greater amount than or control.
