摘要: Abstract We have examined influence of hypocapnia, mild hypercapnia and hypoxia on the durations fictive apnea respiratory disruption elicited by injection 0.1 ml water into laryngeal lumen—the chemoreflex (LCR)—in 20 unanesthetized, decerebrate, vagotomized piglets aged 4–10 days that were paralyzed ventilated with a constant frequency tidal volume. The LCR was enhanced hypocapnia attenuated as reported others. responses to stimulation during varied complex: some animals showed abbreviated tachypnea early hypoxia, followed after 10–15 min more prolonged accompanying reduction in ventilatory activity commonly occurs sustained neonates. speculate this later hypoxic enhancement may be due accumulation adenosine brain stem.
