摘要: MRI has developed very rapidly and now provides anatomic functional information in cases of valvular heart disease. several important attributes that make it advantageous for the evaluation First, natural contrast between flowing blood surrounding cardiovascular structures sharp delineation endocardial epicardial borders without need media. This feature combination with essential three-dimensional nature this imaging technique allows precise quantification cardiac volumes, function, mass use any assumed formulas or geometric models. Second, flow-sensitive GRE techniques are able to identify areas turbulent flow caused by stenotic regurgitant valves. With jets can be visualized semiquantitative grading performed as color Doppler. Third, recently velocity-encoded permit measurements velocities across native prosthetic valves retrograde regurgitation. Moreover, close interstudy reproducibility dimensions regurgitation suggests a role assessing effect therapeutic interventions.
