摘要: Glioma is the most common type of malignant brain tumor in humans and accounts for 81% all cases adults. The abnormal expression microRNAs (miRs) has been reported to be important formation progression various types human cancer, including glioblastoma (GBM). Therefore, studies into expression, roles as diagnostic prognostic markers, well their therapeutic value patients with GBM are warranted. miR‑543 have several cancer. However, role remains unclear. In current study, pattern GBM, effects on cells underlying molecular mechanism was determined. results present study demonstrated that significantly downregulated tissue samples cell lines. Furthermore, upregulation inhibited proliferation invasion, promoted apoptosis. addition, a disintegrin metalloproteinase 9 (ADAM9) identified direct target gene miR‑543. ADAM9 upregulated its inversely correlated tissue, suggesting downregulation may contribute GBM. Finally, rescue experiment indicated overexpression reversed proliferation, invasion apoptosis cells, serves suppressor through regulation. Overall, these findings indicate miR‑543/ADAM9 signaling pathway provide potential strategy
