摘要: Objectives Our objective was to evaluate the impact of vein graft harvesting technique on structure and function vasa vasorum. Methods Paired segments great saphenous veins harvested either with conventional or no-touch were obtained from 9 consecutive patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting. Quantitative measurements, using immunohistochemistry morphometry, performed. Ultrastructural analyses vasorum performed electron microscopy. Video footage superficial in an implanted captured during a operation is presented for online viewing. Results The total area grafts significantly reduced both media (P  = .007) adventitia ( P  = .014) compared technique. findings indicated that preserved intact whereas did not. showed retrograde flow Conclusions These show grafting preserves This could represent one mechanisms underlying improved patency this
