摘要: Abstract Nano-birnessite was prepared, characterized and used for removal of cobalt strontium ions from aqueous solutions. Scanning electron microscope atomic force images indicated that the particles prepared material are presented in nano-scale form, grain size found a range 58–95 nm. Specific surface area nano-birnessite determined to be 200.54 m2/g. The Capacities 2.97 3.04 meq/g, respectively. kinetic studies sorption two obeys pseudo-second-order model controlled by an intra-particle diffusion mechanism. diffusivity Co2+ Sr2+ onto is chemisorption process. Hence, efficient sorbent can decrease influx pollutants, such as; environment or their contaminated media.
