摘要: Abstract For long-term performance evaluation of radioactive waste repositories, knowledge about the radionuclides adsorption by backfill materials is required. As a part multi-barrier system for effective isolation in repository, alum industrial was evaluated to be utilized as material. In this concern, behavior 137Cs, 90Sr and 131I (as surrogate 129I) on (AIW) investigated simulate optimum conditions under which AIW can used an adsorbent employing batch method using radiotracer technique. characterized SEM, FT-IR, XRD, XRF TGA & DTA. has been successfully applied some from real waste. The results indicated that more than 90% these were efficiently retained onto AIW. Based results, it concluded economic efficient retaining material environmental hazardous migration and/or leakage such 131I, 90Sr, 60Co, 212Pb 152+154Eu. Therefore, study could starting point establish consider disposal process.
