摘要: Abstract Microstructure and pozzolanic properties of water treatment sludge calcined for 3 h at 600–900 °C were investigated by XRD, FTIR, SEM, TGA techniques Chapelle test. Calcination alum was accompanied with sequence chemical reactions including; dehydration colloidal Al(OH)3, formation Al2O3, crystallization amorphous silica. conditions greatly affect the microstructure activity sludge. Under hydration high temperature lime, boehmite (AlOOH), silica react lime forming calcium aluminate hydrates silicate hydrates. The amount density increased calcination up to 800 °C then decreased after that. is enough improve its properties.
