摘要: We present a mode-mismatched continuous wave (cw) achromatic thermal lens experiment in which the pump beam is focused presence of collimated probe beam. This scheme presents distinct advantage over mode-matched experimental methods that it considerably reduces chromatic aberrations. Further, using proposed method, we measure near infrared spectrum distilled water. The results are good agreement with previous transmission measurements.
