摘要: Classification of lung adenocarcinoma was largely revised in the 4th edition WHO classification tumors lung, pleura, thymus, and heart published 2015. This chapter deals with major changes classification, briefly describing definition, gross histopathological findings, genetic profiles clinical features each subtype, variants adenocarcinoma. Special reference also made to prognostic aspects. The new concepts situ minimally invasive are especially important from point view because their virtual connotation as 100% curable cancers if resected completely. Each subtype may be categorized into either good, intermediate, or poor group. Much progress has been regarding well, such occurrence EGFR KRAS mutations, ALK fusion genes recently discovered alterations, NRG1 association adenocarcinomas certain characteristics. A brief overview this will help physicians, radiologists, pathologists grasp significance meaning diagnosis according classification.
