摘要: The Alere i Influenza A&B assay is a newly developed rapid molecular which has the potential to generate results within 15 min from sample collection. In this study, we evaluated by using salvaged frozen respiratory specimens that were collected in viral transport medium children ages 10 months 19 years. test compared with culture and ProFlu(+) real-time reverse transcription-PCR (RT-PCR) results. We found overall sensitivity specificity of 93.3% 94.5% for detection influenza A virus 100% B virus, respectively, culture. comparison RT-PCR, 88.8% 98.3% detecting virus. Overall, performed well either cell or RT-PCR.
