摘要: Background: Hypertension is an established risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Risk patterns various complications are different. We studied the relationship between increasing diastolic blood pressure and arterial wall dynamics of peripheral arteries in hypertensives to increase insight variability properties within tree. Methods: Eighty-six untreated participated this cross-sectional study. The study-population was divided into quartiles with office pressure. Cross-sectional compliance distensibility coefficients carotid femoral were determined, using a vessel movement detector system (Wall Track System®). Results: Diameters both common enlarged (right: from 7.4 ± 0.2 7.9 0.2 mm) while 0.61 0.04 0.42 0.04 mm2/kPa) 14.2 1.0 9.0 10−3/kPa) gradually dropped diameter right artery remained unchanged coefficient decreased although less when compared arteries. Conclusions: In gradual stiffening occurred Gradual changes clear which points heterogeneity
