摘要: In radial guide vane swirl generators, the flow direction must change from to axial direction. This can be achieved either abruptly or by means of a fairing section, and each technique used in conjunction with an inserted centre body (deflecting element). research was conducted study effect geometry deflecting element generator on heat transfer fluid friction characteristics decaying flow. The generators this investigation had three different configurations related element: conical element, spherical no element. These were compared other taking into account their characteristics. An augmentation up 150% Nusselt number relative that fully developed obtained constant flux boundary condition, depending upon angles, Reynolds numbers type generators. It observed gave highest also pressure drop both test pipe. Evaluating effectiveness for enhancing transfer, it found using may advantageous terms enhancement energy saving comparison
