摘要: Three breeding lines, originating from dogs with SLE, have been established. Two lines were initiated by mating a female SLE normal male. The third line resulted of two affected dogs. Brother-to-sister matings reached the generation in each line. In addition, backcross and outcross carried out. More than one-third autopsied had thymic abnormalities. commonest lesion was lymphoid follicle; thymus one dog contained multiple granulomas, animal reticulum cell sarcoma found. Multiple serological abnormalities, including positive LE tests, anti-nuclear antibodies (ANA), rheumatoid factor, found progeny. development ANA appeared unrelated to incidence tests. About 10% animals factor their serum. Control populations dogs; house pets; other, inbred housed same facility as colony did not these tests inbred, backcross, consistent any conventional genetic mechanism inheritance. It is conceivable that results can be explained vertical transmission an infectious agent genetically susceptible individual.
