Marginal fit and microleakage of cast and metal laser sintered copings—An in vitro study

摘要: Abstract Purpose This study aimed to compare the marginal fit and microleakage of metal laser sintered Co–Cr alloy copings conventional cast Ni–Cr using a stereomicroscope. Methods Forty extracted maxillary premolars were randomly divided into two groups. One group was subjected coping fabrication lost wax (LW) technique while other sintering (MLS) technology. The these compared before after ceramic addition images obtained with steromicroscope an ImageJ analysis software. All specimens cemented Type 1 glass ionomer cement thermocycling. evaluated for stereomicroscope 2% methylene blue die used as tracer. data statistical paired t -test, Mann–Whitney test Chi-Square test. Results mean in Group B better than A statistically significant ( P ≥0.05). Conclusion fabricated MLS had observable decrease when technique.
