摘要: Mild parkinsonian features can be observed in patients with essential tremor (ET). Although dopamine transporter (DAT) imaging is usually normal ET, some studies found mild dopaminergic deficit ET compared to healthy controls (HC). We analyzed clinical and DAT data without features. Thirty-nine 13 HC underwent detailed examination by a movement disorders neurologist 123-I ioflupane SPECT. Two independent radiologists “blinded” the diagnosis images visually semi-quantitative calculation of striatal binding ratios different volumes interests. were divided into pure group (no features, n = 22), ET-P [one feature not sufficient for Parkinson’s disease (PD), 9], + PD (two or more meeting diagnostic criteria PD, 8). As expected, had lowest ratios. also trend toward slightly lower HC, especially caudate nucleus. There was no significant correlation between ratios, severity duration. Patients represent heterogeneous that includes ET-P. The latter shares but has on as determined visual image interpretation. On other hand, minimal (as controls) detected analysis, although pattern may from PD.
