Effects of charge balance with Na+ on SrTiO3:Mo6+ prepared by spray pyrolysis for H2 evolution under visible light irradiation

摘要: Abstract Photocatalyst powders of SrTi 1− x Mo O 3 and Sr 1−2 Na 2 Ti were prepared by spray pyrolysis for hydrogen evolution the first time from aqueous methanol solution under visible light irradiation. The co-doping 6+ /Na + ions resulted in increase BET surface area pore volume, formation unique morphology with wrinkled, furrowed porous surface, without significant distortion lattice structure host material. rate photocatalyst was enhanced up to 1115.8 μmol g −1  h an induction period 1 h irradiation, which 1.5 times higher than that . co-dopant ion contributed charge balance material compromising excess positive , effective enhancing rate. optimum composition corresponding maximum (  = 0.004).
