摘要: The edible mushroom Agaricus blazei Murill (AbM), which has been used in traditional medicine against a range of diseases and possess immunomodulating properties, probably due to its high content beta-glucans. Others we have demonstrated stimulatory effects extracts this on different immune cells. Dendritic cells are major directors function. We wanted examine the effect AbM stimulation signal substance release from monocyte-derived dendritic (MDDC). After 6d incubation with IL-4 GM-CSF, were true MDDC. Then further incubated up 10% AbM-based extract, AndoSan, LPS (0.5 microg/ml) or PBS control. found that extract promoted dose-dependent increased levels IL-8, G-CSF, TNFalpha, IL-1beta, IL-6 MIP-1beta, order. synthesis IL-2, IL-8 IFNgamma similar for LPS. However, AndoSan induced 10- 2-fold higher production than did TNFalpha respectively. not induce Th2 anti-inflammatory cytokines Th1 cytokine IL-12. conclude MDDC an resulted proinflammatory, chemotactic some Th1-type vitro.
