Management of neuroborreliosis in European adult patients.

摘要: Objectives - To survey present knowledge and controversies in European neuroborreliosis. Material methods The article is based on available literature, own experience, a speech held by the authors together Norwegian annual neurological meeting. Results Diagnosis of neuroborreliosis clinical findings, laboratory support borrelia infection, indications causality between findings borreliosis. In absence means to identify B. burgdorferi, antibody tests are used for diagnosis. Two three weeks courses IV penicillin or ceftriaxone highly effective Oral doxycyclin probably equally effective. Remaining symptoms five years after treatment reported 25-50% patients. Conclusions We suggest two levels diagnostic accuracy; definite possible These case definitions proposed make basis decisions. prognosis pathophysiology post-treatment conditions need further studies. Extensive treatments with antibiotics not recommended.
