摘要: In Central Europe and large parts of Asia, tick-borne-encephalitis (TBE) Lyme borreliosis caused by the spirochetal bacterium genus Borrelia are among most common diseases transmitted bite a tick. When in regions with overlapping TBE virus endemicity, tick causes victim to become ill, it is important that appropriate serological other laboratory investigations form part differential diagnosis. Account must always be taken fact may followed double infection Borrelia. For this reason, comprehensive diagnostic work-up aimed at detecting co-infection both pathogens, even when occurs an endemic region for pathogens but initial clinical symptoms suggest only one two pathogens. The present article discusses number published cases potential multiple infections.
