摘要: We report on an investigation of a singly resonant picosecond optical parametric oscillator in noncollinear configuration for which we alternatively used β-barium borate and lithium triborate type-I phase-matching tunable from 407 to 2780 nm 452 1650 nm, respectively. The was synchronously pumped by the third harmonic passive negative-feedback actively–passively mode-locked Nd:YAG laser–amplifier system, long flat trains short bandwidth-limited 9-ps pulses were produced. obtained conversion efficiency into idler wave (at 900 nm) as high 10% overall 26%. present numerical model operation that agrees very well with experimental results. simplicity ruggedness are main strengths this source when high-power capability wide tunability requirements.
