Tunable subpicosecond pulses in the infrared by optical parametric oscillation

摘要: Abstract A singly resonant optical parametric oscillator with LiNbO 3 crystal is described, synchronously pumped by microsecond pulse trains of a Nd:glass laser (1.3 ps, 1.054 μm). Narrow-band pulses are generated close to the bandwidth limitation durations below 0.5 ps and steep wings 100 fs slopes. tuning range 1.35–2.11 μm 15% maximum conversion efficiency achieved. The measured dependence duration on wavelength in good agreement numerical calculations.
